RefugeeStore will refund customer's purchase within a 7-day period after the merchandise has been delivered to the customer's address. (All refunding conditions in item 3 apply).
Upon receiving the merchandise, and if for any reason the customer is not satisfied, the procedure to request for a refund is as follows:
1.1) Ship the merchandise to: 90/126 Perfect Place Sukhumvit 77, Bangpli, Samut Prakarn 10540, Thailand.
***Please be informed that original shipping fee and that of the returned item(s) will be borne by the customer and cannot be refunded);
1.2) Attach a scanned copy of the returned postal receipt with an email reference of the purchase number, explaining shortly the reason of dissatisfaction with the purchase, and send them together to email@example.com.
***Please be informed that damaged merchandise due to customer's negligence or misuse before or after the 7-day period after the merchandise has been received will not be accepted for refund;
1.3) An email confirmation from RefugeeStore will be sent to the customer once the returned merchandise has been received by us. And if the returned merchandise meets all applicable conditions (aforementioned and henceforth in item 3), customer's charged account will be credited in the amount equivalent to the returned item(s) at the time of the purchase plus 7% VAT.
***Please note, shipping fees to/from the customer, and bank/shopify processing fees of approximately 5.65% already configured in the charge will not be refunded/credited. These fees will be subtracted from the refunding amount of the purchased items being returned (if returned items meet all applicable conditions.***
2. Order cancellation
2.1) Customer may make a cancellation of the order made to RefugeeStore as long as that particular order has not been shipped to the customer (normally within 12 hours);
2.2) To cancel an order, the customer is advised to write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org via the same customer's email address provided to RefugeeStore at the time of 'check-out', stating the followings:
a. Order confirmation number the customer received via email from RefugeeStore/Earth International Consulting Limited Partnership for the particular purchase;
b. A reason why the customer is not satisfied with the particular purchase;
2.3) A full credit equivalent to the amount charged for the particular order (inclusive of VAT and bank/processing fee) will be charged back to the customer's account;
2.4) Cancellation of the order made after 12 hours will not be accepted for any reason;
2.5) RefugeeStore may make a cancellation of the order the customer made if payment method as indicated by the customer cannot not be captured and/or approved by verification;
3. Non-refundable conditions
RefugeeStore reserves the right not to refund the purchase if one or more of these conditions occur:
3.1) The merchandise has been received by the customer for more than 7 days;
3.2) The merchandise is damaged due to customer's negligence or misuse other than the purpose of the merchandise;
3.3) Wear and tear.
4. Exchange policy and disclaimer:
RefugeeStore seriously takes quality control of the unique handmade products innovated by refugees and host communities from around the world. Due to the fact these products are handmade, they may not meet 100% consistency standard in colors, sizes and shape as products manufactured by the machines. While we acknowledge customer's satisfaction in the products/services must be the prerequisite for organization's success, we must also acknowledge the value of uniqueness in the handmade products which represents what we do.
Therefore, RefugeeStore will allow the exchange of merchandise within the condition scope as follows:
4.1) Exchange of the same product can be made for one time only within a 7-day period after the merchandise has been delivered/received to/by the customer's specified shipping address,
4.2) Exchanged merchandise must not be damaged due to customer's negligence, exposure to weatherized condition, and has not been used, worn or transferred to the possession of others;
4.3) If the exchanged merchandise meets the above conditions, it can be exchanged for a new item with which the value of the new item must not exceed the value of the merchandise being exchanged;(***shipping fees to/from the customer will be paid for the customer.);
4.4) RefugeeStore cannot guarantee that the desired item for the exchange will always be available even if it may appear so on online store. In which case the customer will agree to accept a substitute at the same value;
4.5) Shipping fees to/from the customer will be the responsibility of the the customer;
4.6) In case that the customer settles to accept the substitute with the value less than that of the originally purchased item, RefugeeStore will not be obliged to refund the difference.
